In his practice, he finds fulfillment in enhancing smiles with tooth-colored crowns and preserving teeth in cases of dental trauma.

Michael Holt, DDS
Doctor of Dental Surgery
Dr. Michael Holt moved to Charlotte in the mid- 80s with his parents and older brother. He is a product of the CMS school system and a graduate of South Mecklenburg High School. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Hampton University in 1997. He was then accepted into the dental program at the University of Michigan. There he achieved the Doctor of Dental Surgery designation in 2001 and most importantly met his future wife. The majority of the next seven years of Dr. Holt’s dental career was spent at dental practices focusing on children’s dentistry in and around Charlotte. Motivated by his wife and dental colleagues, Dr. Holt returned to school in 2008 to complete residency training at the University of Florida- Naples.
A highlight in his career as a board certified pediatric dentist was the Central American mission trip he took in 2013. Dr. Holt saw firsthand that the level of dental disease in the U.S. was not dissimilar to what other parts of the world experience. He is quick to share that in life knowing what not to do can be more important than knowing what to do.
Dr. Holt’s life has transformed in many ways after he and his wife started having children. Love and passion for movies and favorite sports teams has mostly been replaced by all the activity of parenthood. His family loves travelling and enjoying great food along the way. They are undecided about their dream quest but a trip to visit either set of grandparents is enough to bring happiness.
