Lisa Candon, DDS
A native of Charlotte, Dr. Lisa Candon is thrilled to be practicing pediatric dentistry in her hometown! She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for her undergraduate studies and completed her dental training at the University of Maryland. Dr. Lisa then pursued her postdoctoral specialty training at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital which is often ranked as one of the top children’s hospitals in the country! She is board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. When not treating patients, Dr. Lisa enjoys spending quality time with her husband and daughter.
Nehemiah Lawson, DDS
What happens when you combine acting and singing with baby teeth? You get Dr. Nehemiah Lawson, of course! Dr. Lawson, a military kid, was born in Germany and raised in Columbus, GA. He attended the University of Georgia where he discovered his interest for dentistry, served on mission trips, and even performed at Town Hall (down the street from Broadway!).
Dr. Lawson received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from UNC-Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry, and his postdoctoral pediatric residency training at Texas A&M College of Dentistry (formerly Baylor) in conjunction with Children’s Medical Center and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Dr. Lawson is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Association, and the North Carolina Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
In his free time, Dr. Lawson can be found hiking with his awesome German Shepherd (Tytin), weightlifting, traveling, singing and auditioning for the latest theatre stage show, trying new restaurants, and spending quality time with family and friends!
Noah Menaker, DDS
Born and raised in Charlotte, Dr. Noah Menaker is excited to create happy and healthy smiles in his hometown! He received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and then spent two years teaching middle school science as a corps member with Teach For America in Phoenix, AZ. During this time, Dr. Noah also earned his Master of Education degree from Arizona State University. He then returned to Chapel Hill, where he graduated from the UNC School of Dentistry with honors and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. Dr. Noah completed his pediatric training in Indianapolis, where he served as chief resident at Riley Hospital for Children. He received his certificate in pediatric dentistry and Master of Science in Dentistry degree from Indiana University.
When not treating patients, Dr. Noah enjoys scuba diving, traveling, and spending time with his boyfriend, Joe, and their rescue pit bull, Scooter.
